Introduction to ASL Workshop

Discover the beauty of American Sign Language (ASL) with "Introduction to ASL"

 

This one-day, 3-hour workshop is designed for beginners. This engaging program covers essential vocabulary and basic grammar to help you begin to communicate effectively and confidently.

Courses can be tailored to specific needs; for those who may be experiencing hearing loss, struggle with verbal communication, or for people who are neurodivergent.  We provide one-on-one and group sessions.

General Intrest Course 1

Explore our General Interest ASL Courses at Handy Conversations. General Interest 1 is designed for individuals who have successfully completed the Introduction to ASL Workshop and would like to continue to expand their basic signing skills. 

 

This 4 week course is best provided in a group setting and  fosters a fun and engaging environment for learning American Sign Language. 

 

Join us to enhance your communication skills, to be able to build stronger connections with your families and with the d/Deaf/Hard of Hearing in your community, while discovering the joy of expressing yourself through sign language!

General Interest Course 2

 

This course is a 6 week follow up to our General Interest Course 1.  Again, this course is best provided in a group setting.  If you are  looking to refine your proficiency, we provide engaging lessons tailored to your needs. We are excited to help you as you embark on this enriching journey into the world of ASL!
